The 160 levels include all of the levels from the well known Prelude, Toccata, Finale, Around The World, The Life of Repton and Repton Thru Time scenarios ... plus 16 new levels! New high-resolution graphics showing Repton in America, the Arctic, the Orient, Oceans and Africa; five stages of his life; five of his time-travelling exploits ... plus the new Encore designs. You can choose either the standard or themed graphics, and you can even switch the graphics with just a single keypress while playing the game or viewing the map. The Scenario Selection Screen enables each scenario to be selected easily; and the Progress Screen shows the completion status of each individual level as green, yellow, orange or red. The Repton 3 Editor includes versatile features for level design, character design and high-resolution graphics assignment.
Repton 3 takes the popular Repton 1 idea of level-by-level play, adds most of the extra Repton 2 characters, and brings in time capsules, fungus and crowns. The time capsules allow for some cunning time-based puzzles, while the fungus is also a time-related feature – it's often best to block it in before it spreads wild. Each scenario has its own individual online Hall of Fame chart, and there is a special prestigious online Hall of Fame listing for the total number of scenarios completed by each player!
