Large Extended Edition of 'Acorn - a world in pixels'

New Free Repton 2 Scenario Coming Soon

A special Extended Edition of the 'Acorn - a world in pixels' book is now available for pre-order in a limited run of 1,000 copies!

The first edition of the Acorn book sold out, and we expect this new edition will also sell very quickly. So please order now if you would like to guarantee that you will receive a copy.

The new Extended Edition has 170 additional or updated pages including over 30 new interviews with programmers and publishers.

It features five talks with key people I have worked with over the years, including my first business partner, John Dyson: we set up Superior Software together and produced all of the initial games.

These talks all provide new perspectives on the Superior story. In particular, the early days of the enterprise have never been covered before in detail: a remarkable, fast-moving and exciting stage!

This edition also contains interviews with some of the leading figures who shaped Acorn Computers: Chris Curry, Hermann Hauser, Steve Furber, Sophie Wilson and Chris Turner.

There's a fascinating 8-page 'Making of' feature about the stylish Knight Lore, Alien 8 and Sabre Wulf games from Ultimate. This is in addition to the earlier 'Making of' articles on Repton, Elite and Exile.

The Extended Edition is now 600 pages in total! For more information or to place an order, please visit the publisher's website at: www.idesine.com

We will soon be launching a new 10-level Repton 2 scenario called Safari, and it will be completely free!

It's coming soon for iPhones, iPads, Android and PC devices and computers. For full details, look out for the next issue of the Superior Interactive Newsletter.

Best wishes,
