Two New Guest Games: Coin Planets and Cosmo Bots

If you can make it to London on Saturday 13 August, please come along to the Classic Gaming Expo UK, where you can meet David Bradforth on our stand and see some of our PC, Mac and Acorn software.

Please browse to the official show website at www.cgeuk.com for full details of this event, including the special guests who will be making an appearance.

We have added two specially selected guest games to the Superior Interactive website. We mainly choose games that feature strong gameplay and are a little out of the ordinary - these two new choices certainly fit that description.

First up is Coin Planets, which is a sequel to the acclaimed Coin World game. We thoroughly recommend both of these games, particularly in respect of their gameplay and inspired graphics!

Coin Planets Screen PictureCoin Planets takes place throughout our solar system, with nine scenarios based upon the sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

It contains 45 levels in total, featuring a host of varied and unusual adversaries, including 9 tough end-of-level bosses. Meet the bug-eyed Martians and several other wild-and-wacky lifeforms!

There are platforms, springs, spikes and teleports to negotiate; and shoot-em-up fun in the asteroid-surfing bonus rounds!

Surf the web to our Coin Planets webpage for more details, or simply download the free trial version of the game by clicking this red Free Trial button:

The second game is Cosmo Bots - an exciting and thought-provoking game, which has similarities to the classic games Qix and Jezzball, with varied level layouts.

Cosmo Bots Screen PictureCosmo Bots features 3D rendered graphics, digital sound, many enemies, and tons of power-ups.

Your space station is under attack by bugs - it’s time to get out your drill and fix the damage, and maybe take a few bugs out along the way. Your goal is to complete each level by filling in the empty space, but don’t let those pesky little bugs touch your lines!

The controls of this game are very simple to master, using just basic mouse control.
It's easy to start ... and hard to stop!

Moving on to our popular Repton games, we have received several more very complimentary comments about Repton 2 in particular. Here are two comments (quoted with permission), the first one from a fan who told us that he has several of the different versions of Repton 2 that we have published to date:

"Excellent version of Repton 2, the best version so far." ... Matthew Thompson

"Repton 2 is a very challenging game; it's the best game around. I can't wait for Repton 3." ... Andrew Ives

Repton 3 GraphicsFor a preview of some of the new high-res graphics we will be including in Repton 3, please click the screen picture to the left to see some of the graphics from the Oceans, Egyptian and Future sets.

For those players who prefer to concentrate solely on the Repton puzzles, we are including the option to be able to play each level using the standard Repton 3 Prelude graphics. Some players might choose to play the levels first using the standard graphics, and then using the themed graphics, or vice versa.

We have recently received emails from some customers asking how many levels will be included in the PC version of Repton 3. We will be including all the original levels (Prelude, Toccata, Finale); as well as all the levels from Around the World, The Life of Repton, and Repton Thru Time; plus 16 newly-designed levels ... so that makes a grand total of 160 levels!

Best wishes,
